I always eat with elastics and seldom take them off except brushing teeth. Every night I replace the elastics with new ones before I go to bed.

I also had the brackets and wires on my last molars. For every appointment, my dentist will check for the wire ends to see whether they need to be cut shorter. I also had 2 upper wisdom teeth removed several years ago. One year ago, I had got 4 teeth extracted (2 upper, 2 lower premolars) before I had the braces. I got 4 teeth extracted one year ago to correct my overbite problem. My friends and colleagues told me that my face looks much thinner. To me, it's good as I had a very round face before.

I had soft bread and cakes for breakfast and congee and spaghetti for lunch and dinner. I avoided meat and all sort of hard food at that time. Mashed potatoes is a good choice.
