I'm scared that this implant is going to have to come out. I really like it now and happy that I went through with it. It's 10 days now and when I wake up I spit blood. Not bright red blood but diluted blood mixed with flem. I am on antibiotics and I saw the surgeon a few days ago and said there is ...

Well it's been well over a week now and the swelling has gone down quite a bit now, I'm still left with some bruising but that will pass soon enough. I really like my new chin and my surgeon has reassured me that my face will not look longer. The only thing is that it is weeping, not infected but lo...

I honestly feel sick dunno if it's because of the pain meds or looking at my self in the mirror. It seems far too long. When I had my jaw surgeries and the swelling went down my face looked a lot rounder-minus a chin implant. I thought I was unhappy with the way I looked but nothing like how I feel ...

Not happy...

I had a chin implant placed 5 days ago but I am not happy with the results. I know it is only day 5 but I feel I have made a big mistake. MY surgeon has been more than helpful but I am scared that I am seriously gonna pee him off if I go back to him at my check up appointment and tell him I am not h...

I can't it's on the NHS. I lost 1600mls of blood I think something like that. Had a hematoma and needed to be on a breathing ventilator for a week due to swelling. They sent me to blood specialist and they found nothing wrong but asked me what supplements I had been taking.

The one on the bottom is just a blurry one and looks good. I do miss my old nose though. Now is seems huge and before it was small and dainty. I am not happy with that. <a href="http://s1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/sara_morrison1/B4%20Braces%204%203rd%20time/?action=view&current=DSCF61...

I'm back, need advice and quick one week to go!

I am here for advice. In Feb this year I underwent a Lefort 1 and BSSO, the surgeon said at a previous post op appointment that I would need my chin repositioned as well however there were complications that neither myself or my surgeon could have predicted. I lost a lot of blood and had a hematoma ...

Hey BB we are in the same boat. We had our ops at the same time but I had a few hitches which set me back a few weeks but at the mo I am at the same stage as you. My nose is puffy in the morning, cheeks still slightly swollen. I can take bands off to brush teeth and eat and I slot as much into the t...

Hi guys hope you are all doing well. I saw my surgeon on Thursday. He said I had had a BLAH BLAH BLAH time of it but that the worst was over and that he saw no problems. He said everything should run smoothly and my recovery should now be the same as any one else. He looked at my teeth and banded th...

Those of you with kids how do you cope? I have my friend staying with me at the moment for a week to help me out but I don't know how I am going to cope as he is just a wee ball of energy and I'm scared he is going to knock me. I know we all have to take it each day as it comes though. Let me know h...
