I was shown my computer imaging 'after' shot for the first time yesterday and it made me look like a complete lunatic! OS assured me it's more for illustrative purposes that an accurate after shot though i'm pretty sure the office assistant with the most photoshop experiences just dickies those up ...

unless you're a really positive person you'll be freaked out and depressed by mirrors for about 2 months. This will pass. It can't be said enough times that it takes months to know what you're going to look like. I was distraught about my appearance for a long time but after 3 months I don't even re...

i'm 21 and had my lower jaw set back a little bit and it's left me with slight jowels. I know from looking at older members of my family that I was going to get them eventually anyway, but it's probably been moved up a couple years because of having extra skin now. but I also think your skin will co...

I had my surgery december 16th and I was probably healthy enough to push myself like I used to at about 5 weeks but I was having trouble getting my diet to match up with my ambition, considering. I'm 2 months post op now and am probably at 80% of my original performance but that last 20 is always th...

I'm slim built with fast metabolism, 21 years old 6'3" and was 170 pounds and am a pretty serious cyclist who ate 5000 calories on resting days. Despite trying my best, and drinking weight-gain powder from a gnc, I bottomed out at around 140 and basically lost all my definition. It's been rough...

I feel bad about the shamless self bump, especialy when so many people have much more serious problems and need reassuring about anxiety totally ruining everything they have going on, but am I really the only person with this concern? It might be a matter of my upper lip being too short now, but it'...

I put my hand in front of my face when I laugh but I think it just makes me look cute/vulnerable/whatever. I'm worried all the weird habits I develop now will be hard to get rid of later.

The teeth are supposed to flange out a tiny bit rather than bend in towards eachother, but I see what you're saying. Maybe that other comment was right and it's just a crowding thing and they're compromising.

I've got feeling back everywhere but gums and tip of my chin, it feels more like a response to the fact that they cut through all the muscles that connect my lips to my skeleton and now they're weak and shortened, which would incline me to try to exercise them, but I could be completely wrong. I'm t...

my teeth did the same thing, i just had surgery in december. They probably gave you this explanation, too, but your bottom teeth are bending backwards and your upper teeth are extending forwards diagonally to meet them. They actually make your bite worse with braces but it makes your teeth more vert...

Recovery of Soft Tissue. I wanna kiss girls!

I had upper and lower jaw surgery in december and they filleted my skin clean off my face but i'm 21 so recovery has been a breeze and i'm otherwise doing very well, but my lips aren't coming along that well at all. They're stiff and inflexible and weak and I couldn't dream of the necessary dexterit...
