Ouch!!!
Hi all, Just looking for some advice? My latest set of aligners (12) are causing me some real pain, and it is all located where I have two fillings. These are the only fillings I have and they are in my lower right molars, next to each other. It feels as though these teeth are really not happy about...

swimming with invisalign
Where I live it is perpetual summer- which is nice after spending my first 32 years in the UK! However, it's just as easy to get used to Invisalign when it's hot. You just have to adapt. On a picnic i have been known to brush my teeth behind a tree with a bottle of water. Or, if that's not possible...

IPR
Hi, i've had IPR done on about 4gaps now, my dentist does it in blocks, so when I take home five trays he has done the IPR stated on each of those packs in one go, so the IPR is usually done before the teeth are expected to move to those positions if you follow? He always does it with this stuff tha...

Eating with invisalign
I can't say I've ever had a hot drink/food as I think it might warp the aligner as you say, so just stick with cold things

Eating and drinking
i started out following the rules very strictly, but as I get used to them I have started to relapse! I lost half a stone the first few weeks and people kept asking if i was ok as I was looking a bit thin and they never saw me eat, and as I didn't want to say to everyone why I was no longer snacking...

A few of my front teeth have little chips at the bottom from years of abuse etc and this creates the odd gap but I've never been concerned by it, as long as the attachments are fitting the aligners you should be fine! With the attachments it makes it hard to get the aligner to settle any closer so I...

Sports and invisalign!!
Just wondered if anyone does much sport with invisalign in? I'm an avid swimmer but am scared of swimming with them in incase the chlorine makes them go weird maybe?! Has anyone worn them swimming? I don't really want to lose a precious hour not wearing them to swim when I need that time for eating!!!

My invisalign stats!
That is impressive stats! I usually manage with one meal in the evening where they are out for about 45mins-1hour and then take them out to have a banana and brush my teeth in the morning. I also quickly pop them out during my lunch break at work as well as I feel they and my mouth need a refresh wi...

invisalign newbie
Hi, i'm new to invisalign too, and reading all the advice on this forum has been quite simply a life-saver the past week. I'm getting the dry mouth thing too, I figure its most likely because there is something alien in your mouth and it's unsure how to deal with it! I'm trying to drink loads of wat...
