Ugh! I'm not sure what is going on in this mouth, but boy is it SORE!! STILL!! It's been a week since the monkey chain and I now have a canker sore for about 4 days. Cankers & metal do not get along!!!

Gosh, what a great story. I too have a impacted tooth. Had surgery several weeks ago to pull the baby tooth and connect a chain to the permanent tooth. I now have a "monkey chain" to pull it down. I got the monkey chain on Friday and boy are my teeth irritated!!

Otho told me that I had to wear it when eating, sleeping and as much as I could other wise. I don't have a problem wearing it but it is impossible to chew with it in. The reason I am wearing the bite plate is because my bite is off, Otho does not want me bumping the braces and knocking them off.
