I started wearing elastics for the first time at about 9 months. I wear them religiously because I want the braces off! It's amazing how quick they adjusted my bite!

Hi ddriver1, I'm no expert at all, but I would say your teeth will look great after the braces and filing. I can't really tell what you mean about your bottom teeth slanting downwards, but I wouldn't worry about having a bad result until you get close to the results point in treatment. Good luck
