Vibrating Gadget to cut brace time

I cant remember where i saw the article about a gadget that you bite in and it vibrate to move your teeth.

Was it genuine or a scam??

Front teeth overbite

Suitable for Invasilagn? My ordoth recomend ceramic on top and metal on bottom. Never mention the invalsign even though i know its is qualified as it say so on the website. Or was I just not suitable? Will see him next week for xray regarding to see if need extraction? Really rather not lose teeth :(
