I know how you feel!! I had my second adjustment about 2 weeks ago!! And one day I woke up saying how much my mouth hurt.... Until I lookek in the mirror. Then saying to myself omg wow there beautiful!!! I have about 16 months to go!

Thanks for that info......my elastics say sh4. Is this only the start of what I'm having to go trough?????

Heck was I thinking!!!! Had my 2nd adjustment today!! Power chain on all my teeth, top and bottom! Ouch..... And the joy of elastics. I have to Nestsay it feels like I got hit in the mouth! I know it will be worth it in the end. Question: are all the elastics the same? Lisa

My teeth still hurt!! Just about everyday I feel some discomfort. Have any one else have this happen as well? I go for my 2nd adjustment on Monday, I guess I'll see what the ortho says!

Wow they look great! I have pretty much the same bite, now I can't wait to see the end! 18 months to go....

How crazy is it with all these changes are teeth are going trough. I
over the last couple of weeks I've been going trough the same with a few of my teeth being very sensitive.. I thought I had a cavity! Uggggg 2 years of this.......

Omg... What's wrong with me???? How do I not know what type of wire I have on!!! Is there some type of questions I need to take along to ask at my next adjustment? ( I was braced feb/12/10)

It's like some built up anger in all of us. With all this clenching we're doing! At times it feels I can't bite down hard enough ( crazy I know)! I think I'll try some Cotton tonight.

Does anyone clench more after an adjustment? I do! Last night I was clenching my teeth so hard I woke up with a bad headache. Hi Lisablueeyes1! I've been doing this since my braces came one. My ortho explained that it was my bodies way of adjusting to the pressure on my teeth. He said this is normal and a lot of people do this. This is totally normal and just about everyone with braces has experienced this. Best of luck w...

Omg! I've been braced 3 months now, and I have the bad habbit of clenching at night!!! I never did this before!!! How can I stop? My teeth are always in some kind of pain. Has anyone have this happen to them?

Pain I think will be part of it till they come off!!! I 've been braced for 3 months now and I hate to say it... But my teeth are always sore!!! Is this what its going to be like for the the next 20 or so months????

I have to agree the older we are it's a lot harder! I was braced in th 12 of feb..... And I still have some what of a hard time. Eating is a nightmare and not because of pain, I can't chew,things don't taste the same.... Etc etc... But then I look in the Mirror, and say wow it's gonna look great whe...

I would love to be in these for 10 mts! my ortho told me I'm looking at 18 to24 mts...... So far it's been two weeks! Lol
