I got the bottom braces off yesterday and now my teeth are free of brackets, wires, elastics and powerchains!!! I got the same type of retainer for the bottom - the clear, fitted retainers like Invisalign. I love my TEETH!!!!

Clear retainer on top. Don't know what I'll get for the bottom. So far it is working out well. I'm glad to have the clear one. It's just needing to always know where my case is and making sure I take it out before I eat. It's all about developing new routines.

Coming to the end!!! I'm getting my braces off exactly 2 1/2 years to the date of getting them - they are COMING OFF on 8/16/12 - just in time for my birthday and a month early!!! My Ortho is so proud of me and said he was going to miss me!!!

My TADs are still in place and my gaps are closed. Now my ortho is using rubber bands to help correct my bite. I'm getting closer to the end...1 year to go. Another thing- before they started, I filled out all the necessary paperwork just IN CASE, I started to freak out so they could give me general. I was even told I'd need to have a pregnancy test done...LOL...I'm 50+!!! LOL
