Just recently changed from blue to light blue. At 6 weeks so far.

My wisdom teeth haven't grown yet but my orthodontist said I will eventually have to get them extracted once they come out while being braced.

I just got my braces put on this week & my first adjustment is on the 3rd week of september. So 7-8 weeks.

I was wondering the same thing.

I have the wire bent in the middle of my two front teeth point upwards like half of a square. I guess they're trying to move them forward?

You can choose any orthodontist you want, no referral is needed. I think they will give you an estimate of the different treatment(s) you can have. You should tell ortho #2 that you have records/x-rays already. They will probably ask ortho #2 for them and create a more accurate estimate. I meant or...

I'm thinking about getting self ligating braces too.

Are they comfortable so far? And are the brackets really that sharp?

I would get another consultation but it's very time consuming and usually doesn't fit in with my schedule. I probably will though.
