They put men on the moon. I don't understand why the tubes when no head gear will be worn? Obviously the people that make these things have never worn them or they would make a band without tubes because they are unnecessary petty torture -- two years with these things sticking in my cheeks.

Went in today to get the remainder of the bands put on (top) for a total of six, I did ask the assistant if she could pinch the cleats down a bit, so she did and it isn't as bad, even getting a little used to them now, I think too that getting the spacers out was a relief -- between the spacers and ...

I have bands on my upper back six molars and I think only one of those six is not a crown. I was told that the bands made it easier to eat (in the long run) when everything starts moving around, also was told that adhesive brackets are more likely to come off, harder to get those back teeth dry etc....

Do they make molar bands with a smooth surface on the tongue side?

I have bands with the little grooves to accommodate head gear of which I am not going to need. Seems that putting in bands with grooves on a person who will not require their use is just adding grief for no reason...?
