I have had light pink...which did not stain. Last time I got like a clearish pearl color.....Now they look like rubber bands...LOL. I seem to have better luck with the pink. I definitly will never get the clear, or white or pearl again.... The silver might be ok. Depends on where my powerchains are ...

I think it is funny at the ortho, that when anyone smiles, its like everyone looks around to see what their braces look like. Haha. Congratulations Amy...it takes about 5 or 6 days...then the tenderness in your mouth gets alot better. I would probably steer clear of any kind of gum if I were you....sugar free or the other kind.

Just think how beautiful you will be when it is all over.

I have metal braces, and pink ligs the first time and pearl this time ( which I will never get again..they stain to easy) I guess I should just think...this is who I am...this is what I look like right now....take it or turn your head...haha. I am 46 just got mine last month...don't know if I had ever hardly smiled in a photo. But just having the braces...I am noticing that I am smiling and showing my teeth more... Ooh...thats sounds a bit scary. My eye tooth feels a little loose and I can hear it make a sound if I push on it. But it is not that loose. I would call my Ortho and ask about it before it gets any worse.... Just my opinion...I am new to braces myself.
