Hello and Hi....well I'm six weeks into the process now.....got my lower braces on today :D and a bite plate :shock: ....have a near 100 percent over bite.....how long (duration) have others had to wear thier plate before getting rid of the foul thing? an interesting note....Its has taken at least 1...

Thank you everyone for the welcome, top metals on for two weeks now, they put a 2 loop power chain on to close the gap between my top teeth.....and now its less than half the space it was.....what a confidence builder!

Yup, mine too!, would be nice if I could find a way to leave mine alone....spend all day pushing them with my tongue and lips to hear the pops

Hello and Hi, another 50 year old, you are doing the right thing! I was just braced on top 2 weeks ago, bottoms and a bite plate next month....the discomfort sucks, but I cannot wait to see my teeth when everything is done

Just got my top metals on on April 6th, yes everything is loose up top. All kinds of pops and clicks! Somehow I cannot leave my teeth alone, keep pushing them with my tongue and lips to feel the pops and clicks
