No offense intended but shouldn't you be asking the orthodontist you work for these questions? Why would you be putting braces on patients if you don't have a working knowledge of the procedure?

Don't draw any conclusions about your teeth's movement, especially so earlier into your treatment. Your teeth can, and will, make some movements that might seem alarming but relax. It's nothing abnormal and everything will work out as time goes on. Trust in your orthodontist!

I got elastics at 8 months.

I look forward to adjustments too. I just had one this morning. I got a rectangular wire on the bottom to replace the old round wire and am now wearing elastics! The orthodontist apologized for doing this to me right before Christmas. I said, "don't apologize, I embrace the pain!" No pain ...

I don't think there would be an issue if you got pregnant during your treatment. Just make sure you are compatible with your orthodontist and if you feel he'd make a good father! Ha Ha

Your post sounds like it could have been written by me when I was at your point. To make matters worse, at my first appointment after getting braces, I didn't even get a wire change. What a let-down. I was beginning to wonder if perhaps I had that extraordinary set of teeth that just wouldn't respon...

I've had wires pop out of molar brackets before but I've never had any issues with the doors and I'm almost 6 months in. Sorry to hear about your troubles.
