hi beth i'm also having surgery to correct underbite ,the wait to get on the nhs seemed like forever but i do have my lower braces on now
so it does feel like i'm progressing, hope to have surgery sometime next year.

2. How much are you paying for your braces? free on the nhs for both braces and jaw surgery but waited about 1 year for treatment to begin .
3. What kind of braces do you have? all metal and quad helix
4. What is your estimated time in braces? 2-3 years

i used whitening strips on my teeth just before getting braces.

is it true that no one should have to wait more than 18 weeks to be seen on the nhs once refered by gp or ortho?.

same here i'm trying to get on the nhs, it's been 3months since my consultation with a private/nhs surgeon yet i've not even heard a whisper from the nhs yet, it's quite depressing .

i was given the choice of having braces privately and surgery on the nhs. i'm with a private dentist and she is refering me to her oral surgeon who does both nhs&private.
