I am now on day 12, and feel that even though I am improving I still have words I slur or lisp with. I can imagine the "z" in italian would be difficult. I would probably be struggling with that also. I have trouble with words that end in th's. I find that a word may sound fine to say on i...

Thanks for the feedback fra. I posted a reply a day ago, but for some reason it has disappeared. I have also found that when I am speaking to my husband and son that my lisp is not as bad either. It's around other people that I am overthinking and hesitating, and not doing as well. I guess relaxing ...

It is my understanding with ibraces that most cases that can be fixed using traditional braces (on front of teeth), can be done with ibraces as well. In the US my cost for upper and lower lingual braces (ibraces), including retainers post braces was $7500. It was the most expensive of the options (metal, ceramic, and invisalign). Fortuneately, my insurance covers 25%. Just the uppers might not be as bad. Best of luck!

Thanks so much for the feedback LB! I can't imagine going through the operation and extractions with the brackets and wire to contend with while healing! That sounds really rough. My ortho's original plan was to go that direction, but I'm actually glad now it turned out this way. I think it might be...

ibraces soon, could use some positive feedback!

Hi there. I am 31 years old, and finally, after my dentists persistance, taking the plunge and getting braced! I had myself geared up for invisalign, but when I went for my ortho consult, alas, I was not a canidate. Then he hit me with "I only do this in about 10-15% of patients, but you will n...
