I have it back!

Looks like they've replaced the whole thing.

Sounds like when you go for your first check up your dentist will put the, "composite buttons" on your teeth, to hold it at the correct place.

They're quite small and hardly notice, they feel bigger than that are!

I have the one which expands your arch at the same time.
(Mid Line screw I think it was referred to as.)

I've had it in for a week, and I can definitely feel that it's widened my "side" teeth already.

I was told to use a tooth brush, (different to the one you use on your teeth!) and washing up liquid.

I have it fitted. Same story, funny speech, tender teeth when is taken out or put in.
I have the little buttons to keep it in the right place.

I'm about 8 hours in! Off to sleep now, let's hope it doesn't keep me awake too much.
