start with with the bonded permanents and go to the removable if the bonded ones are unmanageable, unless you don't care about teeth shifting (slightly or not so slightly)

Good question!!!!

The spaces may remain after your braces are removed and retainers placed.

If they do then your doctor should/will close them post-treatment.

This in a nutshell is one the best things about bonding brackets instead of bands to all molars, sweet!!!!! :D

Ribbond is used as a splinting material and it is fiberglass ribbon. Extra adhesive between contacts could be a problem for the health of your gums and teeth. Best to have your doctor check it out asap.

Hey TJanz..

I wish there were braces w/o adjustments or retainers for that matter.

Damon shmaman, does'nt matter, the key to ortho treatment today is the wire, and of course the doctor and patient using the wire.

Good luck, and keep paying attention to your doctor.

Hi Carlie, Your teeth are pretty common in terms of fit or misfit that is. If you are thinking that orthdontics will fix your jaw popping, that may not be the case. By and large the research demonstrates that how your teeth fit is not linked to jaw problems. However, sometimes there is a direct rela...

Interesting discussion about whether models (molds) are needed, and whether same day braces/records is appropriate. I think the answer to both depends on the patient's case, the doctor and his/her practice. There is no right or wrong here unless something goes wrong with the treatment that was not d...

Rick there is no question you are the best, you have a background and passion that is second to none. I don't think you should blindly defend someone that is doing limited Ortho, you may get into trouble with that. Every patient and doctor is different. Being a doctor is more important than what &qu...

I agree with DR. Rick, lower slenderizing will help reduce the black triangles. Check with your docs asap to let them know your concerns as I am sure they want you to be 100% happy. Good luck
