So, I had my surgery Aug 3 and I had a question. I had an app today with my surgeon and he said that he would have to put me to sleep to remove the splint that I have in the roof of my mouth. That kind of scared me, anyone have any experience with this, lots of pain, fine, etc.....

I had been thinking about your family also. I hope all is well! I have been doing good. 15 days post op today. I still have swelling and tightness, but all in all I feel preety good. I have developed an ear ache and I am hoping it goes away soon.

I also used texting to communicate, came in very handy! Especially when they were out of the room or went to get me something and I thought of something elce I needed. You cant really yell so texting helps alot. Good luck again!
