Well I had the procedure done and my bite feels much more natural. My ortho said it was essential to equilibrate before treatment. He grinded several of my teeth so my teeth all hit together at the same time. He also evened out my front teeth. I get impressions in two weeks. Hooray invisalign!

Has anyone had this done? If so, was it done before starting invisalign because that's the case with me. I'm assuming my bite will change during treatment so I'm not sure why it's being done before invisalign.

I'm new to the forum, 29 yrs. old and about get invisalign (had braces as a kid). Look for irritating questions from me in the near future!
