Re: Honestly, do you floss?
No it takes too long. I only floss at my ortho when they take the wires off and tell me too.

Re: Two top retainers?
Hahaha nice name!!! Hahahah Yeah maybe he'll change his mind though. Yes I think he put them on because I needed hooks to wear elastics. Yeah when my friend got hers removed they told her 6 months, she said after the sixth month or so she could feel her teeth setting in and she never wears it anymore.

Re: Two top retainers?
Because my bottom teeth were pretty much perfect. In fact I had my top teeth braced like 8 months before my bottom. Basically there's not much to "retain" because thats all the braces have been doing for the past year and a half.

Two top retainers?

My ortho told me I won't need bottom retainers which is awesome news BUT my question is do you think they'll let me get two top retainers? Would that be asking for too much? I really want a back up retainer. Plus didn't I already pay for...

My gap was about 70% closed now that it doesnt have a lot pressure, so it has moved back now its about 30%-40% closed. Why di...

What should I do? Please help.
Okay first off Im a college student so I make very little money, but I live at home which is a huge money saver. Anyway I have two options. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Option 1: I went to a Private General Dentist/ Orthodontist. I was told going to a dentist that does both would be a ...

See thats what I dont get. How would I be losing money? I thought the annual premium was paid at the beginning because its prepaid. So for the entire year I would only pay a hundred bucks. So if Delta pays lets say 1500 towards my ortho over a two year time period, I would only be paying two years ...

Well heres the thing. Generally your insurance benefit for ortho is paid over the length of treatment. You have to keep paying premiums in order for them to keep making payments. So if your sole reason for buying the coverage is for the ortho insurance you would be actually losing money assuming yo...

How does dental insurance work?
Hi Im new here and I just want to know how insurance works. For example I need insurance that will help pay for braces for adults(im 19). Delta Dental seems to have a pretty good plan. However its a bit confusing. The annual prepaid premium is around 100 bucks for me, no ortho waiting periods. So if...
