I've got to wait 2 years as well. From what I can tell you should look into getting your upper jaw expanded (widened). That alone with braces would probably fix your problem. I had to go in for surgery to have 4 wisdom teeth removed + 2 upper teeth in preparation for my braces, and following that my surgery. I recommend getting it done now. I'm curious how surgery has affected YOUR life in respect to the opposite sex (or same, if homosexual).
