I was just wondering if anyone had any more thoughts on this. I have my first checkup with my ortho since getting braces on this up coming Wed and I'm sure he'll bring up the extractions.

I love the electric toothbrushes. You can buy the throw away ones for like 6 dollars. If you are worried about them being to hard at first they have toddlers ones that are electric now too. I just purchased an Oral-b professional care one but it hasn't come from amazon yet.

My Ortho's assistant suggested a toddler brush because it's soft and small.

2. Evaluated Invisalign but it didn't work for my particular case

I wanted it but they said it wouldn't work for my case. Went to two orthodontists both said the same thing. Wish I could have gotten it. I don't like regular braces at all.

I'm 31. I've had mine on for 8 days and I feel the same way. I just wish I could chew again. That's the worst of it.
