Re: Inman aligners

Hello everyone, just thought I'd update my experience with you all as I started my treatment back in 2010, and, at the time, would have liked to have read some posts from people with more long term experience of the Inman aligners. I would say that mine took a lot longer than was initially told ( yo...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi everyone :) I've been lurking on the board for a few days now and I have a few questions if that's okay with you fellow IA wearers out there. I got my IA on Tuesday and have been wearing it about 22+ hours a day since and I have to say I'm struggling, particularly at work. Speech is hard- its no...

Re: Inman aligners

Those asking about rotated teeth and the inman...I've been wearing it over 3 months now. My teeth are in the right position, but the rotations have not improved at all. Aligned teeth do not look as rotated so it does help. I mentioned this to my orthodontist and he said it does not always do well w...

Re: Inman aligners

Thanks for your replies guys :) I was warned in the beginning of my treatment that the final plastic aligners would be £150 on top of the price for the inman aligner, and I was also warned that I might need an extra one a couple of months back. I feel the price I paid in the beginning was very reaso...

Re: Inman aligners

RE: CLEAR PLASTIC ALIGNERS after the treatment: Hello again, I've not been on for a while and it's really surprised me to see how many people more recently have only had theirs 6 or so weeks and seeing results so quickly and are nearing the end of their treatment! I embarked on this exactly A YEAR A...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi rainymac, That's really interesting to see what you've said about the wire at the back of your teeth - I'm due for final check next week (finally!!!) and was asked last week which I'd prefer, the wire or the plastic clear 'invisilign' style tray for at night - my dentist said that some people go ...

Re: Inman aligners

Here are the next stages.. (if you go back to previous post to see the start!) which took me up to Feb... as you can see they are no longer sticking out side views, but this created a gap between front teeth...
(I'll post the next 3 on the next post which shows this now closing up:) thankfully!!!)

Re: Inman aligners

Hello again everyone It's been a while since I've been on here, it's really great to see the end result photos people have been putting on - and getting to know what the aftercare bit is like too, thank you :D I last posted back in October (page 47!) and I honestly thought I was a few weeks away fro...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi everyone, It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted, it's interesting to read what Funster and Sian said about the skill needed from your dentist and the actual Inman 'craftsman' who make the apparatus. When I last posted I had just had my aligner sent back as it didn't seem to be working a...

progress so far...

Hello again! It's been 4 weeks since my last post, just been reading about you guys just starting out - I can honestly say that my speech improved so much after about 4 weeks, I got the hang of it, it was only 's' that I struggled with! So stick with it! I was excited last time I posted because I th...

4 weeks since my last post

Hi everyone, just wanted to share more of my inman experience since I last posted, 5 weeks ago....it's going so quickly! And now the end is in sight :D If you look back at my post I was having concerns that the aligner was hardly touching the back of my right front tooth and therefore was not moving...

Hi Jade, in answer to your question I can't really comment because I've only got the IA only so far for my top teeth. I've not had to have an expander and have not yet paid for the clear brace that I think I'll need at the end of treatment. So far it has been about half of what you're paying if that...
