My bottom central incisors were taller than my other teeth, and my ortho successfully pushed them down. I have Damons, and for 4 weeks I had the wire on top of the brackets instead of through them on those 2 teeth, and it worked pretty quickly to push them down.

I usually will excuse myself to brush my teeth when the meal is finished, or at least to do a quick check to make sure I don't have half my sandwich caught up in my grill!

The gap shouldn't be a big deal - it looks like your teeth are moving closer to their correct midline so they both need to move to do that. Looks like great progress to me.
