so, i got free today :jump: my lowers have been free for 3 months or so and today my uppers are down to on lowers i have fixed wire as retainer that hasn't bothered me at all, on uppers i got a Hawley that i am supposed to wear as much as possible for the time being but it seems to fall of if i talk...

hey guys, i use baking soda but take care, in time it affects the teeth, do not use so often, once per week is enough...it is abrasive and damages the enamel if used too often... my Ortho says so...

i've had many gaps during my treatment, in the beginning i had a lateral removed and it left a big gap, afterward for some weeks i had the Madonna look, something like 2-3 mm gap.....it's been hard for me, but time went by so quick.. and people around me have been soooo supportive, never seemed to n...

I didnt before braces, sooo tight spaces and any floss would rip apart...after braces, i tried, but then got a water pick...its amazing what i find even after brushing... :mrgreen: my Ortho commented that she can see the difference, since i started using the water pick... so much less plaque.. i am ...

i dont tkink you should worry, i had some tubes like that placed on some elastics so they dont rub into my gums and i had the exact problem but it was ok with my Ortho, i wasnt supposed to clean their inside to she changed them every visit...

wow it's been so long since i checked in, here :) meanwhile i'm almost ready, i have some things like a question mark welded (yes, welded) on my upper archwire, next to my canines.. that were used to vericalize my teeth since they were leaning inside... and my lowers are being finished as we speak, ...

oh well, i told my Ortho about this guy, because i have 2 brackets on my canine, one on the front of it, like most people, and one on the back of it...towards my tongue...you can check my story..i weare an elastic to make the canine tip outwards.. anyway she said that sometimes they have to improvis...

same as anngie27...i've been advised to take them only when others wont work or just half the dose...anyways i rarely took them since.. taking less pain medication is better for our bodys anyway..

hmm...if i only put one bottle cap in all that waterr it wont taste as good, but i will try it

as for Torque...as i understand they twist the archwire to make a specific tooth more enclined in one direction...as in the tip more towards the tongue or more outwards...also check youtube for torque...

last month i bought a water pick...i love it, and im sure my Ortho will also...but... as i noticed, i started using a lot of mouth wash, as i put it in the water i use...i water pick twice a day mainly and once on weekend, but i go through a 500ml bottle in one week... before i guess it was one bott...

well, i got the most bracketed canine around, or what? ! thursday i got a second bracket on my wacky canine...on the back of it...the bracket holds an elastic to my lower molar...cause my canine had tilted inwards toward my tongue... as my Ortho says, "We have to improvise" http://i661.pho...
