Thanks for the replies! Guess I can likely expect to be wearing these babies for some time to come. Active, mine was on for 4 months. I've also heard people having theirs on for a year. Ugh, no thanks. So glad I didn't have to have it on that long.

Thanks for the good cheer! Active, braces will be MUCH better than the expander! I had tops, bottoms and the RPE put in at the same time. Manda, go ahead and ask for them. I don't see why you can't have color. My assistant showed me a color card and I got to choose. Lovin' colors already! Just got braces today and went with pastel green. There are so many colors to choose from...maybe next time I'll go multi. I figure, might as well have fun with it while I can!!
