I get the same stuff on my Essix lowers. If I'm very faithful with the Retainer Brite ( which I'm not ) they look great though.

I have/had the same problem and same solution. It works fabulously. There is no interference between retainers. They should take your molds when your bonded retainer is already on in any case.

I don't mind you asking at all. No, I didn't. I think it was because it was so close to having had them off and what was happening wasn't due to something I did or didn't do. I haven't been charged anything else additionally. I'm very thankful for that. Especially since I am way over my initial 2 mo...

I did have the big gap and also the bonded retainer for just those 2 teeth. It was great. Very non-intrusive.

I've gone through two sets myself already. Ground right through em'.

I'm fortunate because my ortho replaces them for free as long as I continue wearing them, so I'm not too worried.

I think Meryaten is right, it varies from ortho to ortho. Mine went 8 weeks, then 6 months, then 1 year, and then another year.

Unfortunately, I only made it to the 6 month one before I had to be put back in braces.

I have a bonded upper one. It's doable, but I know it's not a preferred treatment. You might have some space issues with your bite that won't allow it.

For me it was 24/7 for eight weeks straight. Then every night for the next 2 years. After that you could go down to 3 times a week. I plan on just doing it forever.
