I had lower jaw surgery a month ago. I was feeling fine after a week and could of gone back to work after 2 weeks. It was no way as bad as I was expecting. Getting my wisdon teeth out was worse.

I think if someone has an overbite from just teeth movement alone it can be fixed without surgery, like if they sucked their thumb as a child and it pushed the top teeth outwards. But if the overbite is because the jaw didn't grow properly it would need to be fixed with surgery, which was my case. M...

Turns out I was worrying for nothing lol my period decided to come a week late! I told the nurses it was due & they just told me to wear pads incase. But it didn't come until I got out of hospital! all the stress, anesthetic and medicines must have put it on hold for a few days.

I had my surgery on thursday :) had my lower jaw moved forward 8mm. Everything went really well! my surgeon did a great job & he is really impressed with how im healing. I stayed in hospital for 3 nights, intensive care for the first night because I had my mouth banded shut and they just wanted ...
