Are you talking about white arch wires? I have never heard of clear ones. If you are talking about the white wires, keep in mind that your orthodontist will probably NOT be able to use them the entire time during your treatment.

My reasons were 100% cosmetic as well. Straight teeth are so much more attractive than crooked.

I completely agree, Paw655. I think that it is fine to say something to someone about such a thing if you know them well. However I think that it is completely inappropriate and rude to say such things to a stranger.

I was told months ago that I would get my lower expander out in January. Last time I went in, it changed to April, which would make my expander time about 7 months.

I went today for an adjustment and I noticed that the assistant did not put any ties or ligs on my last brackets on either side of my lower arch.
