Re: Inman aligners
hi smiletime, I'm in London, and I think my dentist did say something along those lines. It was a long time ago but I'm pretty sure he did mention I wouldn't have to pay if I needed a replacement. But I'm sure you don't have to pay if you are getting a replacement because your present one isn't doin...

Re: Inman aligners
Dominie, fully agree with the others! Your teeth look fab! smiletime, I think you should ask about getting new aligners and you definitely shouldn't have to pay for them. My dentist mentioned to me from the start if anything goes wrong with my aligner, even if I lose it, I can get a replacement for ...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi smiletime, I think you should feel some pressure when you press. I do on the protruding tooth. Are you wearing your bar lower (if it's top arch) or higher (if bottom) as well? That helps a lot with increasing the pressure. It doesn't look right but it works for the last bit of movement. If you fl...

Re: Inman aligners
It's been ages since I've updated my progress. I got my bottom aligner this week and when I first put it on I didn't feel any pressure and it doesn't click in place as securely as the top. I thought it was not going to work very well as it didn't feel as tight like the top. My dentist filed in betwe...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi JackDaniels, I am happy when I see the photos where it shows the underside of my arch. But now I realise that my front teeth are a different length! I didn't realise it before as the protruding tooth was the thing that I focused my attention on and now it's pretty obvious (well to me!). And so wi...

Re: Inman aligners
I went into see my dentist earlier this week and I thought I had to do more filing but he said my teeth were in the right place. I wasn't too convinced though as it seemed that the one that was protruding was still out a little but he took photos fron different angles and surprisingly, it's all in p...

Re: Inman aligners
Good to hear your treatment is almost finished, Dominie! I have my next appointment next week which is a little over due but my dentist was booked up. I haven't been wearing my brace as often on some days and one of the days that had to take it off almost the entire day, and I think I noticed my tee...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi everyone, I went for my 3 week check up 2 days ago. The dentist said the back of the plastic was now touching all my teeth so there has been some movement, but I needed to create some space for the protruding front tooth. So I had a little bit of filing done in between the front teeth to loosen t...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi everyone, It's been exactly two weeks for me and thought I better give an update on my progress. I wish I had more time to set up a blog, so I'm glad to hear charlie8 is doing it. My hours of wearing have declined a little. The first few days I was a little over enthuastic, wore it all the time a...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi JD, Yes, we did! Mine's going to take about 6 months, 3 months for each, and I'm starting on my top arch first. My front teeth hurt a little when I take the IA out for a bit but my back teeth haven't hurt at all, except a little today when I ate raw carrot for lunch, which probably wasn't the sma...

Re: Inman aligners
I went in to the dental clinic on Tuesday and was shown cast of my top arch that they took the last time I went in. They also had a cast of how it would look after treatment. I was introduced to my top arch aligner and shown how to put it on, take it off and practised a few times. Got a bit of a sur...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi everyone, Thought I'd join the forum as I'm about to have my inman aligners and wanted to share my experience and also get some support from those who are going through the same thing and advice from those who have had them. I went in for my hygiene clean, photos and moulds done before Christmas....
