Swallowed bracket!!
Feeling pretty dumb right now lol. I was out for dinner with my boyfriend and I bit into some toasted pita bread--pita bread, of all things!!--and felt a small click on final molar on the upper right side, but thought my wire or o-ring had just snapped, and was already swallowing my bite so continue...

thanks ashesgap! it is getting a bit better, i guess my tongue has built up a callous or something because it doesn't hurt quite so much anymore, although it does occasionally get caught on a sharp edge and get ripped! owwww! i figure since this is only day 5 things will just get better.....right?

I got my linguals on Friday, both upper and lower sets at once, and aside from a bit of teeth and jaw soreness, my big big problem is the tongue! It is in agony! I do salt water rinses and those feel good for a while, but then I have to use my tongue again and it gets all destroyed. My question is, ...

That's great that it's going better than you were expecting! I think the pain will tolerable for me if it's a lot of headache type pain because I get really severe migraines and am usually able to power through them!
