thank you for the encouragement , especially appreciate it after the 2 hr. oral surgery today. A metal "post" into back jaw to attach the bottoms to. Thought I was going to pass out at one point then doc offered general anesthesia or nitrous. Chose the nitrous but, yousa!

I agree with Silver girl. I actually have a new boyfriend, ...told him in first mo. of meeting that I was going to get braces. He laughed, promptly showing me his only crooked tooth, "because I didn't wear my retainer." It's definitely an interesting part of life. So good you're doing this...
