Re: Lips cover up teeth when smiling
when you smile do you open your mouth or smile with your teeth closed together? I'm the same and I had to learn how to smile. I either put my tought between my teeth or open my mouth until I look like I have an "normal smile" I would try smiling in the mirror until I got the smile I wanted...

Is anyone dealing with angular cheilitis since their surgery
I have been fighting it off and on since my surgery 2 years ago. It came back with a vengeance in December. I'm using the ointment my dentist gave me and it will not go away. Re: small lips (pictures)
I'd also add than Shanalouis has had an unusually hard and long recovery (8 months and two surgeries!), and so has had a long time to sit around and think about how the surgeries are turning out. I'd have done *much* more complaining and worrying if I'd been through as much as she has. I've also no...

Loose teeth????
So My upper left bicuspids and incisor were loose. My OS not only moved my upper jaw forwared but widened it. basically he made a cut on the side of each of my incisors. The teeth on the left near that cut are pretty lose. tbh all of the teeth in the front inbetween those two cuts are lose, the two ...

My nostrils widened also!
It's most noticable when I smile. LOL. The thing I was trying to fix. I had one person suggest to me I may need a more restrictive alar base stitch.
If you're female PM and I can show you how I addressed this with cosmetics. Helps sooooo much!

How far apart should the upper and lower incisors be?
For some reason it appears that my jaw may have been moved too far forward. I fully realize that there maybe room for my orthodontist too tilt my central and lateral incisors back some. The question is when everything is done how should your upper and lower teeth fit together? My lower front teeth d...
