Re: Anyone have success with braces only?
Here's two I've been following: http://saybraces.blogspot.com/ and http://justanothermetalmouth.blogspot.com/ I also had a underbite, more like an edge to edge bite. One orthodontist told me I needed the surgery, and the orthodontist I currently go to said I only needed braces. I'm halfway through t...

Re: My Underbite Ceramic Braces Only Story
Great progress so far! I'm glad you posted this as I am being treated for an under bite too, although mine is more an edge to edge bite since my bottom teeth don't come out in front of my tops, they just sit right in line with my top teeth if you know what I mean. I read your blog and I can't believ...

Re: Been in braces about 6 weeks and feeling very discourage
I've never heard of anyone only having braces for four months, but maybe its possible. My first adjustment was also at two months, and from what I've read on here, that is fairly normal. I've had my braces for almost 5 months and I haven't seen much movement yet, so its normal for you to not see muc...

Re: No pain yet...
I hardly had any pain either when I got my braces on. I've had two adjustments so far and they haven't been too bad. The last adjustment only hurt that evening and by morning I felt better. I would assume as treatment progresses, and the wires get heavier, it may start to hurt more.

Re: Anyone experienced unevenness?
I am almost at the 5 month mark and I'm experiencing the same thing. My bottom teeth seem to slope in one direction, and since my last adjustment, my one front tooth is slightly ahead of the other. From reading other posts here, it seems this is all normal and will straighten out in time. But I know...

Re: 36 and getting ceramic braces in 2 weeks
I'm 35 and got all metal braces put on in early November. No one has commented on my braces yet; I guess they must not be that noticeable or its just not that big of a deal. Your braces will be even less noticeable if they are ceramic. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Good luck with your treatment.

Re: Think I made a Mistake...
I was given the option of clear or metal braces. I ended up choosing metal because I figured no matter what I chose, people would notice I had braces. It was a shock when I first saw them on my teeth, and it took a few weeks to get used to seeing them, but now I hardly notice them. Good luck with yo...

Re: Braced at 24...Oh the floss we thread...
Good luck with your treatment! I also have a class 3 malocclusion that is being treated with braces. Your bite looks similar to mine. I got braces 4 months ago, but haven't noticed much movement yet. I will be interested in reading your updates.
