Re: Electronic Tooth Brushes
Hm..I just use a regular tooth brush. So far no issues and no complaints from my ortho and dentist. lol. My co-worker gave me a $30 off coupon for a sonicare electric tooth brush set so I might just get me a set and see what all the hype is all about.

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
@Sick of Braces hearing your story kind of scare me. So you have been brace for 8+years still? That is a very long time. What was your initial treatment time to begin with and after that expired did your ortho not suggest you opt for another route or did you just decide to wait it out hoping the too...

Re: Damon braces v Ceramic braces
I have damon metal braces top and bottom. It's been almost 5-6 months since I been braced and I notice a significant change in my arch. Like BracedSurgeryStudent stated you can feel when your arch expand. It's weird and cool at the sametime.

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
@Lola89 welcome to the club. If your canine haven't erupted yet then most likely you will have to get braces and exposure surgery w/ chain link and all to help the tooth erupt into place. I am in the same situation as you. My canine is on the upper right and it's been about 5 months now since I've b...

Re: Spacers in - not as bad as I thought it would be...
I had spacers put in last week and there was no pain but after I left the office the pain started kicking in. I guess it varies from person to person. The spacers are gone and now I have 4 molar bands and they're a pain!

Re: **~~Braced Up~~**
O M G so I had an appointment today and I am in so much pain right now. The spacers they inserted kind of hurt but the full effect came after I left the ortho office. My back molars hurts and the shooting pains are causing major headaches. Took pain killers but I am still in pain. Hopefully it will ...

Re: **~~Braced Up~~**
Been busy so I haven't had a chance to update much. Last month I had my first adjustment. I thought it was going to take long but it was a tweak and I was done. Right now the ortho is trying to create space/room for my upper right canine. My front gap is now closed. The top and bottom teeth are alig...

Re: Going in for first adjustment today!
Glad your first adjustment went well. I had my first adjustment last month and it was a quick tweak and I was done. The longest wait was checking in and waiting to be called back. Lol. My 2nd adjustment is next week and I'm super am excited about it and the week after that another adjustment. They a...

Bite Changes?
I have my braces on for 9 days now and notice some changes in the alignment of my teeth but I still have long ways to go. For the past couple of days I noticed that when I bite down or try to chew I notice my lower right lateral touches the back of my upper right central. At first I thought it was j...

Re: IMPACTED CANINES CLUB
I am all braced up.
It is not to bad yet. I probably will get my exposure done in august. Right now my ortho wants to create space for the right canine. When that happens I will probably be in a lot more pain.

Re: Eating Lunch!
I just got my braces on today and I had ramen for dinner and man it took forever to eat it. I made sure to make it extra soupy and it took me almost an hour to finish it. Before braces I was a slow eater now with braces I am even slower than before. :-+ I am still trying to adjust to lightly chewing...
