I have my braces on right now at age 20. It's been 8 months into my 2 year treatment.

My ortho has advised me before I got my braces on that I may have to pull some teeth out. But for the first 8 months, we've been just looking to see if it was needed and if I had enough space for all my teeth. However, I guess it now seems like that's a no-go. I have an open bite tendency prior to braces and now I have a slight openbite - definitely hard to eat - so I'll be extracting some teeth to fix that as well as other crowding problems tomorrow
But you look really great! Wish you could have fixed it without surgery though. But still, great result!
