Congrats and good luck on your braces journey! I had a tooth extracted yesterday. I will be getting my spacers on April 26 and braces on May 3rd! Fortunately I don't have to have surgery. My issue is crowding. Again good luck!

Update: So I made it through the extraction yay !! I'm not in any pain, just a little discomfort and I've got to get used to the missing tooth and gap , but I'm doing well! Spacers next and then the braces!!

Great advice Lisa! While I'm not going to be self-conscious about having braces on, I have noticed people who could benefit from braces. I've also thought about why I didn't get them sooner. Anyway, May 3rd will be her before I know it and my journey will begin!

Thanks for this list. I get braced on May 3 and was wondering what I needed to purchase-I like to do things ahead of time. I'm definelty going to get the Water Pik and the electric toothbrush.
