Good luck to both of you on your journeys! This process for me has been a long time coming and I officially started the process last year this time! It's all worth it though. My biggest issue with braces right now is mouth sores, but thank God for wax and warm salt water rinses!

@kaylaa that's a really good tip. I get braced July 5th and as long as I've been on this site I've never seen this tip. I will stock up on milkshakes & sugar free gum!!

I got my bottom tooth exctracted on 4/26 so I know how all of you feel regarding eating and being self consicous about the gap. Now that I'm used to eating again, I get spacers put in tomorrow and I get braced next Tuesday! It's comforting to know I'm not alone in this journey!!

An HSA account allows your balances to roll over year after year- at least mines does. An FSA account ballances will be lost if not spent within the specified amount of time, usually a year.
