When I got braced they left brackets off of 3 bicuspids. Then told me they had to be pulled. Hope it's different for you.

Don't be nervous, you'll be fine. I got my braces on after being at my new job for 4 weeks. If people don't feel comfortable with you doing something positive for your health then you need to ask whether you want to be surrounded by those people.

I just had 3 bicuspids out. This was 7 weeks after having 3 wisdom teeth removed. The bicuspids were a piece of cake. I had them removed at 3pm and was back at work and pretty much normal the next day.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the guy probably like you for you. I'd also guess that he has already noticed your teeth. Apparently he hasn't left you, so apparently he's OK with it. Besides, if he left you because of bad teeth that's a pretty shallow person.

I had my first visit, pictures, impressions, X-rays, exam, consult, and spacers put in all in one day. I told the ortho I couldn't wait another day to get started. You're not alone

I had my braces put on on 4/5. I had three bicuspids removed on 4/14 (two top, one bottom) to make room for my teeth to move. I am SO frustrated right now. I've got huge holes where teeth once were. So one of the teeth that got pulled had three roots! Overachiever!
On a side note, getting a tooth pulled that has three roots HURTS!
