Don't say "oh, you should have gotten them long ago" .

Hi ...have you tried using a waterpik to floss ...I use one (I manually floss as well) it gets in all the nooks and crannies and feels great with warm water ....very soothing...

OH ...by the way ..I have ceramic and metal braces....

(Initial reaction )...ceramic braces are braces ..take a look at my pics and tell me if you "notice" them ...they actualy stick out farther than metal brackets and because of that probably hurt my mouth more than metal braces hurt ...this site is about sharing experiences..with people who ...

I had springs there too and mine were tight in between the teeth so they couldnt move ..after they opened the space they could slide a little .

I may be off but I believe the round wires are lighter and are used in the beginning to level and align the teeth ..then the square or rectangular ones are for root torquing and more heavier movement ..I have not heard of triangular wires myself ....

Hello.... I could not brush the first few days ....but loved the waterpik ...at the low setting....it really made my mouth feel good ...I put a little mouthwash in the water to help also ....good luck..

tell her you ran out ...that you really like it ..but cant find it anywhere ...see what she says ... or ask her where she got it ...and make a comment about how much the other costs...

have you tried the Glide threader floss...it works very well ,,also I use a waterpik after eating to dislodge food before I brush ...there is a little brush thing called a sulcabrush..it gets in all the tight spots ...I have not had my teeth cleaned yet with braces but am going on the 20th of Oct .....

never have used that ..but love my waterpik ..I still floss with Glide threader floss...
