Congrats!

I found that the first 2 weeks were the worst and after that all the adjustments hurt for a while but never quite as much as when they went on! It is all worth it, I just got in off after 2 years and 3 months and it is wonderful!!!

It is all worth it. It was a long haul but nothing like having them off and having straight, fixed teeth.

I figured out a way to post them here.

I have my pictures of my teeth naked in - "The Naked Tooth" under the same heading. I am so pleased that I am done and it was well worth it.

Those are the retainers, I have mine on and they work like a charm. Can floss like normal and I am already used to them.

I am so happy to have them off. I have all 3 types of retainers, essix for day, hawley for night and permanent for the bottom. He recommended the Hawley for night since most people grind and clench at night and can wear outthe essix over time. I love brushing my teeth now it is sooooooooooo easy. We...

I was told by my dentist that teeth naturally have a tendency to move forward so the gaps that you may have now will tighten up over time even with the retainer. I have a bigger gap around my teeth that thad the molar band and he said I shouldn't worry about it because it will close on their own.

You can get the permanent retainers that are have the swiggles ( s - shape ) so you can floss in between. I just got them and I don't have to use the threader. I did have to ask my ortho specifically for it.
