Thanks am braced - I totally agree with you over wondering if it's just the teeth that move back or the gums. My ortho is super nice but always super busy multitasking between patients... I guess with a lot of ortho patients being kids they probably don't think about us adults who over think things/...

Awww I sympathise, work outings are worrying with braces. Not sure if it will help with pasta sauce but i've found sipping water helps prevent food staining a lot... At least it stopped me getting red wine stains on my clear brackets. Also definitely carry a dental kit/ cleaning stuff with you. Good...

Such an interesting topic. In regards to how often people see their ortho's, I know everyone's case's are somewhat different but i'm surprised by how often my appointments are. Tomorrow is 3 months for me and my 3rd adjustment! Including initial consulation I have now seen the ortho - 6 times - not ...

Awwww can totally relate as that will be me tomorrow. Orthodontist to get wires out, dentist's for a cleaning, then back to the ortho for new wires and my 3rd adjustment

I'm going in for my first two (of four) extractions on June 8th. What on earth can I expect?? Will I be numbed or full knocked out? Will I need someone with me to escort me in a car or will I be able to navigate public transportation myself? Actually, more importantly.... WHAT THE HECK WILL HAPPEN ...

Hi Teethat27, new wires are going great a little soreness but not bad, definitely worst pain was in the ortho chair. Think I like this wire better as the pain is in areas of my mouth rather than just certain teeth like the previous wire. Also I love the heat thing... Lol at you trying to warm up the...

Good luck! I got braced May 24th too! Progress is amazing huh! Sorry to hear of your pain but hopefully totally worth it for our future Hollywood smiles!
