At least you will only have one gap. I've got both gaps. It's not that big of a deal. No one has given me weird looks and everytime I talk about it people say they hadn't noticed.

Congrats! My 9 month anniversary was 5 days ago I have a lot of work to be done and we are looking at a total of 2 years (or more). Thursday I go in to get brackets on 3 teeth that were left un braced because we needed to move the others first. 9 months, go us!

Weird that they kept it. Before I got my braces they pulled all my baby teeth. I still had 5 in there at the age of 24!

I'm curious...why are you are getting implants? I had my baby canines pulled and we plan to do the exposure surgery sometime this year. Was the exposure and pulling down of your adult canines not successful?

That sounds painful I had two bottom molars removed because they were still babies and I'm 25! My ortho said I'm very lucky and they are erupting on their own! If they keep on their path we will only need to move them into place with my braces.

Are you talking about coil springs or forsus springs? I was given coil springs in 5 different areas 2 weeks ago and had a hell of a time adjusting. Mine is a set price for 24 months (I have a lot of work to be done). They said if I go over 24 months I won't have to pay more money and it includes the retainer.

Wait. I'm confused. My orthodontists didn't say anything about not eating sweets or drinking sodas or sweet tea. He just said nothing sticky. Why is everyone giving up chocolate and soda? There is no way I'd do that!

Why would we need to give up soda? My orthodontists didn't say anything about that. All he said was no chewy sticky stuff.
