Like I said in my original post, I took the bottom one out wrong. How fragile can it be that it would just break by taking it out one handed? there are no uber retainers to get that wont break?

It's so fun to read what someone posts about their first day, it brings back memories. The first week or so are the worst! I remember the first week of having mine a friend brought me a cheese burger and it was the most painful meal of my life! :x

Don't worry, at first it seems like you can't eat anything but you end up getting used to it fairly quick. Just hang in there

I feel your pain, I was so scared to get mine removed. In the end it ended up being more annoying than painful. It didn't really hurt too bad, I just couldn't eat or do anything. Be sure not to suck on anything or smoke so you don't get dry sockets :)

While I have no experience with jaw surgery, I do have other medical issues that others just don't seem to understand. My advice to you is to do what makes YOU happy. Don't worry what your parents think about it, it's your mouth after all. Just do what makes you happy!

I feel for you, I had my wisdoms pulled ~6 months ago. Be careful that you don't suck on anything too hard, I wouldn't use a straw if I were you. Dry sockets can be a pain! Good luck :)
