In using massage to reduce swelling - do you directly massage the face in the areas where there is swelling or do you massage the neck area or both?

I am almost 8 weeks post-op and looking to get rid of the swelling that is remaining in cheeks and around my nose.

Totally agree with Rizzie! Make sure you have something to help with it. I am the same way. However looking back I wish I had asked everything I was thinking. They are not silly or stupid questions. Doctor ordered a prescription of Diflucan to take for 10 days. I took the first dose last night and it is already working. Can't wait until it is gone! So gross.

Has anyone experienced oral thrush (yeast infection) in their mouth and throat while being banded shut? If so, what did you do to fix it and how did you cope? I'm pretty sure it is from the antibiotics and the periodex mouthwash. It is so annoying!
