Re: Inman aligners
UPDATE: I saw my Dentist last week. I've ordered my whitening gel which will take 2 weeks. I've to use my current clear aligner as a retainer, night times only :jump:, but no idea how long for. Not sure how long he expects me to use it like this for as I have ruined it. I think I'm trying to eat it...

Re: Inman aligners
I got my last (fingers crossed) clear aligner today. This is in now until I go back on 14th November. I'll be ordering my whitening gel then. I think I'm going to go for the removable retainer so will have moulds taken for that and for the whitening gel. Once my teeth are white I'll have a composite...

Re: Inman aligners
I'll defo try that, thanks!! Where do you live? My dentist in Preston, Lancashire, UK was offering free consultations. He's also so friendly I know he would quite happily show one to interested parties during a consultation. There is a search function on the official IA website that lists dentists ...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi all Quick Update. I'm on my 2nd clear aligner. Should have had my third fitted on Tuesday, but it wouldn't fit. My dentist has had to take another set of moulds to get another two made up. I'm only supposed to get two free with the IA, so I'm getting a little bit worried about how much extra I'm ...

Re: Inman aligners
The technicians have made me 3 clear invisalign type aligners/retainers. I have the first one in now for a week. They are so comfy to wear compared to the IA. My 'naughty' tooth really aches with this, but at least I know it is working. I'm assuming that the 3rd one will be my final retainer. Althou...

Re: Inman aligners
Mine got really bad on one side where I discovered a bit of wire sticking out. I covered it in orthodontal wax until I went back for a check up. My dentist then covered it with something more permanent. I also find that Bonjela helps a little.kated wrote:ok thanks for the advice

Re: Inman aligners
So much for only wearing my IA at night until I get my clear one on 16th. Popped it in last night before bed and realised that my now relatively straight tooth wasn't so straight anymore. I've had to wear my IA again all day today and won't be removing it until 6:30am tomorrow. I've decided to wear ...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi all, Having hated my lower teeth for years - ever since my orthodontist lost my retainer after over 18 months of traintracks and my teeth relapsed before I could get a new one - I'm finally doing something about it. It's the front four teeth which are the problem, and so the Inman aligner seems ...

Re: Inman aligners
Hello I have had my inman aligner on my top teeth for 2 weeks now. This is to straighten my front teeth as i have one that crosses over the other. The first week i had alot of pain and discomfort but that seems to have improved and i am getting used to it alot more now and have noticed movement. I ...

Re: Inman aligners
I'm in Preston. £1500, but I got it on interest free credit. 10 months x £150.
I use Steradent or Retainer Brite and use a small/thin child's plastic paint brush to get 'behind' the springs - this area does get really manky!

Re: Inman aligners
I had my 6 week check on Monday. I'm back in 2 weeks where he'll take another set of impressions and have 2 new appliances made up for me. These will apparently move my two misplaced teeth the last few mm they need to be correct. I then get a removable retainer as he seems to think that a fixed one ...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi, been a silent reader on here for a while now! Had my Inman in for 2 weeks now, averaging 16 to 20 hours a day to solve overlap on My front 4 teeth. Just feeling a bit disheartened as I can t see any movement yet and when I floss the gaps the dentist created don t seem to be any smaller. Is this...
