I'm so sorry you're unhappy. I assume you had your chin moved backwards. Have you talked with your surgeon about it? I think it's possible and fairly easy to make changes to the chin. It's nothing like upper/lower jaw surgery.

I'm 6 days post op. Things are going pretty good, aside from this perpetual feeling of hunger!! I did get both jaws operated on, and genio. I'm glad I did the genio. I'm still unsure if I would have been more unhappy with just top jaw and genio, but I'll never know.

Surgery is in about 13 hours. Getting nervous!!!

Thanks everyone! OMG. My surgeon's office just called to say that he's now considering doing a genio. This is too much to have to think about and figure out THE DAY BEFORE surgery. I have no clue what I'm going to do. I said I wanted the surgeon's input, and she was like, well it's just a preference...

I really can't decide. I'm freaking out. I want a shorter face and a chin that isn't so strong, but I don't want a weak chin either. I really wish they could give you computer-generated pics from the front, too.
