Re: No Brackets I went with Invisaligns
Good luck :) I have 3 'overcorrection' sets. They were actually part of the original plan, so I'm still on time. I was really starting to be concerned over my bite alignment, but these trays seem to be rectifying that issue by moving 2 molars which were out of alignment. I hope it continues. If not,...

Re: Braces at 41
Hi Annie! I got Invisalign on Sept. 21, 2011. So far, I LOVE them. I have no sores from brackets, no pokey wires, and I can eat everything (unfortunately). I suffered from persistent canker sores as a kid, and could not see going through that torment again. I'm scheduled to wear my Invisalign for 46...

Re: No escape!
Hello All! Had to go to my appointment today (5 days early) since I'm scheduled for federal jury duty starting next Monday. That means Ive only worn tray #4 for 9 days. The dental hygienist had me sit in the chair with my trays already removed. Before I knew it, she's slapping tray #5 into my mouth...

Re: Finally Getting My Teeth Fixed
Hi and welcome! Im on tray #3 of 23. 46 weeks. I have had no discomfort whatsoever...I guess I am very lucky. I switch trays every 2 weeks. They are tight when I first change them for about 10 minutes. Then that's it! I love mine so far. I hope your treatment goes well for you.
Cheers!

Re: No escape!
So, 1st appointment. Everything is going as planned. I asked my orthodontist for a look at my clincheck....yes, I proceeded without seeing the clincheck first. But, I requested it today and got what the final result will look like. Here it is: I'm pretty pl...

Re: No escape!
Klo, Bottom line is, you will always get the best results with braces (or so I've heard). So don't be jealous. Your teeth will be picture perfect. I'm hoping mine are close to that. :D My orthodontist is supposed to be the best in our area...my son's teeth are beautiful...but he had braces...Damon'...

Re: No escape!
Started tray #2 and week #3 of Invisalign on Monday. Was expecting more discomfort with the new tray...but nothing. Some tightness when I first put it on, but then it settled the first .5 hr. No issues after that. Before I put them in, I did do some trimming with a battery operated nail file to mat...

Re: No escape!
well...one week has officially come and gone relatively easily. Went to orthodontist yesterday because I swear I've bitten off 2 of my attachments. The hygienist said no, but the orthodontist wasn't there to ask. So, I'll wait til my next check-up on Oct. 25 to ask. Tray 2 to go on next Monday even...

Re: No escape!
Klo, Yes, I have a VERY slight lisp that come and goes. It's not hard to speak with them in...not too bad at all. I have noticed a pokey edge and needed to get it filed down...but it has caused some sensitivity in one tooth. Imagine that! I actually had to used wax on Tuesday. Was thinking about th...
