Hi Claire1987,
Regarding the pain, from my experience I can say it is normal that you don't have any after the first few days. What you should still be able to feel though is a gentle pressure on the moving teeth.
Hope it goes smoothly!

Re: Inman aligners
Hi all, I thought I'd encourage those of you who are either in the beginning or middle of the process by updating about my positive experience so far. I've had my top arch IA for 15 weeks in total (I have to admit that it could have been about 12 weeks but I had a few days here and there that couldn...

Re: Inman aligners
From what I've read on this thread, it seems that the IA is very bulky in the mouth. I do expect it to be uncomfortable and to effect my speech but how thick and obvious is the front bar? Also do most people get used to talking with it in enough to wear to work?
I...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi, This is my 3rd week and I'm used to it by now.. still I'd say it's good to be prepared mentally for the fact that it takes quite a lot of space in your mouth. My speech has improved a bit but I can't see how I won't have a lisp as my tongue finds it hard to pronounce "s" and "ch&q...

Re: Inman aligners
Hi I am thinking of having inman aligner and wondered if anyone has had experience of dental elegance in sidcup? Also is there anything that can go really wrong? Are you all happy with the results? Was it worth it? Just really worried to take the plunge. Also how often do you...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi everyone :) I've been lurking on the board for a few days now and I have a few questions if that's okay with you fellow IA wearers out there. I got my IA on Tuesday and have been wearing it about 22+ hours a day since and I have to say I'm struggl...

Re: Inman aligners
Hatemyteeth, That's great, 7/8 weeks is really not much longer from now.. It must feel great when people can actually start seeing the difference. I guess that is really the proof that you're getting there! I can't wait to get it all done now and I've just started! Hopefully by Christmas I will also...

Re: Inman aligners
Thanks Hatemyteeth, That's very helpful to know. I am now definitely asking my dentist to let me wear both as soon as I can. It's also good to know the upper one is more difficult to wear than the bottom one, as I prefer the idea of going through the worse bit first :) How long left before you are a...

4th day into treatment!
Hi everybody! As many of you I've been reading for a while and now that I've finally just started my IA treatment, I thought of sharing my impressions about it. Today is my 4th day with the IA to try and get my front upper teeth aligned, especially my left lateral tooth between canine and central te...
